Why not put them to use helping the youth of our community?

Our goal is to not only help troubled youth become functioning members of their households, schools and society, but to address the needs of both the youth and the family. By helping them develop and implement positive life changes, these families will affect beneficial change in relatives, neighbors, friends and the community.
In order to help facilitate these goals, Project Re-Connect offers a range
of programs which include: Family Connection Program, Youth Leadership, Mentor/Volunteer Program and Gang Prevention/Parenting Program.
We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to youth and families. We started interviewing prospective clients in November of 1991 and began helping families in January of 1992. Project Re-Connect provides counseling, education and support services to youth and families in the East Bay Area.
Project Re-Connect is funded by the City of Oakland's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Measure Y, East Bay Community Foundation, Alameda County Probation Department (Community Probation), and many other generous corporate and private donors.
