Why not put them to use helping the youth of our community?

The P.A.R.E.N.T. Program (Preparedness And Relationships Equals Non-Violent Transformation) was established in 2006 by Project Re-Connect in conjunction with the City of Oakland's Measure Y Initiative.
The program is designed to address the heavy increase in gang activity by Oakland youth.
This unique program takes a proactive approach on educating parents with children who are high-risk of becoming involved in gang activity or other violence. Classes are held in English and Spanish.
